Background Felicia Ofuma Mormah Obtained her Ph.D. in Educational
Administration & Planning from University of Nigeria Nsukka. She is a Lecturer in the
department of Educational Foundation, University of Delta, Agbor. The current Ag.
Director Centre for Part-Time Studies. Her teaching and research interest focuses on
school Administration and the integration of information and communications
technology. She is a certified online facilitator.
Dr, Felicia Mormah is the Founder and Country Director of Association for Digital
Education and Communications Technology – ADECT, Nigeria in Affiliation with
Association for Education and Communication Technology (AECT) Bloomington, USA.
Dr. Mormah has vigorously pursued her vision of integrating technology in Education
and Administration of higher institutions in Nigeria and beyond. She is the convenor of
ADECT- AECT 2019 International Conference in Abuja- Theme “The Future of
Technology, Learning and Education Communication Technology in the 21 st century:
Issues, Challenges and Prospects.
Dr Felicia Mormah during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown in 2020, convened
International virtual Conferences “Coping remotely during a pandemic: supporting
bewildered teachers and students in an emergency” and “Meandering through the virtual
storms of digital inadequacies in formal Education.” with participants drawn from
several continents of the world like U.S.A, Middle East, Africa, United Kingdom andAsia spreading the message of digital education towards influencing people to embrace
the new normal.
Dr Mormah also convened the 2021 international hybrid conference “The Innovative
Educator: Bridging digital and Education divide” which has currently given birth to the
ADECT-AECT TechTrend Special Edition with Springer and a conference proceeding
lodged in Oklahoma State University Library. She successfully worked on an
international collaborative book chapter with seven (7) Academic collaborators from five
(5) continents of the world. Titled “ Inquiry on Technology Use and practices During the
Pandemic: Experiences and Challenges from Selected Countries”
She has presented in Harvard 2017, Indiana Universities 2018, Zanzibar 2022 and
Gambia 2023 respectively. She is the 2022 recipient of Robert deKieffer International
Fellowship Award- AECT International Division. (USA)
