Background Dr. A.G Ossai was born at Ebedei, Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria. He attended Egba-oma Primary School, Akoku/Ebedei and then proceeded to Ebologu Grammar School, Utagba Uno where he obtained the West African School Certificate (WASC). In pursuant of further education, he proceeded to the prestigious Delta State University, Abraka. He obtained his first degree in History Education (BA Ed), his Masters degree in educational Administration and Planning (M.Ed) and Ph.D in Educational Administration. He is a member of many professional bodies and has published many journals and attended many conferences. Dr. A.G Ossai worked at State Universal Basic Education Board, Asaba as Chief Administration Officer, Lecturer (Part-time) AkaniIbiam Polytechnic (ICE Centre), Asaba; Lecturer (Part-time) Novena University, Ogume; Facilitator, National Open University of Nigeria (Asaba Centre); Lecturer (Defunct) College of Education, Agbor (2009-2021) and Lecturer University of Delta Agbor. He is presently the Head of Department of Arts and Social Science Education, University of Delta. Dr. A.G Ossai held many positions, these include the Chairman, SUBEB Staff Welfare Association; Chairman Non Academic Staff Union (NASU); Vice chairman, Nigeria Labour Congress, Delta State; HOD, Primary Education Studies Department; Deputy Director, Delsu Degree Programme; Chairman, College of Education Academic Staff Union (COEASU); Director Pension Matter and Presently the Head of Department, Arts and Social Science Education. Dr. A.G Ossai is happily married with children.
